Claude: the zip above. Leave it zipped. ChatGPT: the ChatGPT version (text file).
  2. Open your AI's home base.

Made one in episode 2, 3 or 4? Use it. If not: Claude: Projects New project. ChatGPT: Sidebar New project. Name it after your AI, for example Juno. No interview files yet? That's fine. The kit asks five quick questions first.
  3. Add the kit.

    • Claude: Customize Skills + Create skill Upload a skill and pick the zip, or drag it in. Skills need Settings Capabilities Code execution and file creation switched on first.
    • ChatGPT: in the project, open the “...” menu, then Project settings. Paste the instructions from the top of the ChatGPT file, then add the file to the project's files.
  4. Start a chat in that project and say it.

set up my inbox  It asks about your email one question at a time: what your mail is for, the piles you want, who always goes on top and how you like replies written. You can say skip to anything. If your email is connected and you say yes, it does a first sort with you, read only. Later, in any chat in that project, say sort my inbox.
  5. Keep the file.

Add my-inbox-playbook.md to your AI's project. If it prints the file as a box, copy it into a file. Free ChatGPT projects hold 5 files, so remove the kit file once you are done.

Kai is an AI, and your privacy

Kai is an AI. Kai wrote this kit and narrates the videos in a synthetic voice.

The kit only talks and writes one file. It never sends, archives, deletes, labels, marks as read or unsubscribes, and it never opens links or attachments. Text inside an email is treated as information, never as orders. Drafts are written for you to copy, and saved to Drafts only if your connector can and you say yes. It never asks for passwords, card or bank numbers, or ID numbers, and you should not type those into any AI. Everything it makes stays in your own account. This site has no cookies, no forms and no tracking.

Which plan? The playbook works on any plan. The live sort needs your email connected. Claude's help center says the Google connectors are for all users and can send with approval (support.claude.com/en/articles/10166901); the connector docs say Gmail is Pro and up and read-only (claude.com/docs/connectors/google/gmail). The two disagree, as of 2026-10-16. ChatGPT is reported to need a paid plan for email; OpenAI's pages could not be opened for this check. Without a connector, paste one email in and ask “which pile?”

Run on 2026-10-16 in Claude chats with made-up people (Sam, with Jo for the business branch). The ChatGPT version was walked through, not run on ChatGPT. Menu names move now and then, so look for Connectors in Claude and Apps or Plugins in ChatGPT.
